If you like hot sauce, you're in for a treat.

Initially I created the hot sauce for myself, but as friends tasted it, they began to ask for their own bottles. Before long I was giving out bottles on a weekly basis.

Invariably, the comment I hear from folks is "It has great flavor!" - which it does. Most hot sauces have little flavor, no matter how much heat. Go ahead, look at the the label of store-bought hot sauce. It probably says something like "vinegar, salt, cayenne pepper." My hot sauce is different. Sure, Zombe Blood has plenty of heat. After all, it has Carolina Reaper, Trinidad Scorpion, Ghost, Habernero, piquin, and my exclusive Zombie peppers. What makes my hot sauce different? The herbs, spices, and flavors I add. Although every batch is slightly different, I always use cumin, onion, garlic, salt, paprika, Sazon, honey (or maple syrup), and bourbon. Usually there's tomato as well. It depends on what's is in my garden and cupboard.

 

The peppers are all grown in my own garden. I make the sauce in small batches, following the Cottage license guidelines.
